Client: Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System
Location: New Orleans, LA
Date of Completion: September 2014
In 2012, the Southeast Louisiana Veteran’s Health Care System set out to build a replacement medical center in the heart of New Orleans, after the previous building was damaged during Hurricane Katrina. Working as a subcontractor for the joint venture of Clark Construction and McCarthy, Boh Bros. worked to complete the piling portion of the project. In all, Boh drove 5000 pre-stressed concrete piles that were 14” and 150’ long, driven in two pieces. The piling work helped provide a solid foundation for the medical center to rest on for many years to come.
